DSTU HAS PRESENTED KEY DIRECTIONS OF INTER-UNIVERSITY COOPERATION WITH AZERBAIJAN AT THE RUSSIAN HOUSE IN BAKU
During a business trip to Azerbaijan, the management of Don State Technical University met with the staff of the Russian House in Baku. The university delegation headed by Rector Besarion Meskhi shared with the participants of the meeting the plans to strengthen inter-university cooperation between the two countries, presented popular areas of training and key research projects of the university.

DSTU WILL CO-OPERATE WITH THREE LEADING UNIVERSITIES OF AZERBAIJAN
From 4 to 6 October, a delegation of Don State Technical University headed by Rector Besarion Meskhi has been on a working visit to Azerbaijan. The programme of the event includes meetings with parliamentarians and the leadership of leading higher education institutions of the neighbouring country, discussion of cooperation issues and signing of agreements with higher education institutions: Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, Khazar University, Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University.

DSTU REPRESENTATIVES TOOK PART IN A DISCUSSION ON MEDIA EDUCATION AND DIGITALISATION IN CHINA
Vladimir Kolodkin, Vice-Rector for Academic Work and Dean of the Faculty of Media Communications and Multimedia Technologies of Don State Technical University, and Denis Dubover made presentations at the meeting of the subcommission of the Russian-Chinese Commission on Humanitarian Cooperation in Nanjing (People's Republic of China) and at the SCO TV Festival. Employees of DSTU joined the events in China as part of the Russian delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Bella Cherkesova.

DSTU REPRESENTATIVES TAKE PART IN THE WORLD FORUM OF TWIN CITIES
At the International Forum of Sister Cities Cooperation of Shandong Province, the grand opening of which took place on 25 September, the head of Rostov-on-Don Administration Alexey Logvinenko signed a protocol of intentions of friendship and cooperation between the Don capital and the city of Jinan. Employees of DSTU were part of the delegation of Rostov-on-Don, which arrived in Jinan with a working visit.

DSTU STUDENTS STUDYING WINEMAKING WILL UNDERGO PRACTICAL TRAINING AT ARGENTINE WINERIES
Nunez Edgardo Marcelo Jonathan, President of the Association of Enologists of the Mendoza Province - the most famous and largest winemaking region of Argentina – has paid a visit to the Don State Technical University. At the meeting with the Dean of the Agroindustrial Faculty Dmitry Rudy, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of viticulture and winemaking - in particular, the organisation of industrial practice of DSTU students in Argentine wineries.

DSTU AND NECMETTIN ERBAKAN UNIVERSITY WILL CO-OPERATE IN SCIENCE AND EDUCATION
Don State Technical University and Necmettin Erbakan University (Republic of Turkey) have signed an agreement on co-operation in scientific, educational and social spheres. The management of both universities plans to strengthen academic ties by developing and implementing joint research projects, holding joint international conferences, sports competitions and cultural events.

DSTU RECTOR BESARION MESKHI PARTICIPATED IN THE MEETING OF THE NSCF BOARD OF TRUSTEES
On 26 July, Rector of Don State Technical University Besarion Meskhi took part in a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the National Student Football League (NSFL) as part of the business programme of the Russia-Africa International Sports Festival at the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. The main topic of discussion was the return of Russian student football competitions to the format of home tournaments.

DSTU AND SEYCHELLES DEVELOP FRIENDLY RELATIONS
Don State Technical University has signed a cooperation agreement with Seaweed Seychelles, a Seychelles-based company that produces a soil conditioner and growth stimulator for agricultural plants. The document provides for bilateral academic contacts, scientific and technical research, improvement of the quality of educational services and exchange of information. The parties also agreed to jointly participate in international programmes and initiate joint projects, including educational and cultural projects.

DSTU AND THE COPPERBELT UNIVERSITY, THE REPUBLIC OF ZAMBIA, WILL COOPERATE IN THE FIELDS OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND CULTURE
Don State Technical University and Copperbelt University, the Republic of Zambia, signed a cooperation agreement and a memorandum of understanding in the field of academic and scientific cooperation on 28 July within the framework of the Russia-Africa Summit in St. Petersburg.

DSTU STRENGTHENS COOPERATION WITH NIGERIA
On July 28, Don State Technical University and representatives of Nigeria signed two strategic cooperation agreements as part of the Russia-Africa International Summit taking place in St. Petersburg on 27-28 July 2023. The partnership documents were concluded with the University of Agriculture, Makurdi (UAM) and the Committee of Vice-Chancellors of Nigerian Universities (CVCNU).
