JEAN MONNET CHAIR     

The key objective of JM Chair on Best European Practices of Quality Assurance (JM4EQA) is bringing up a new generation of quality assurance experts for Russian education system reforming and integration into EHEA.

JM4EQA is a project within European Union Erasmus+ programme initiated by DSTU Pedagogical Measurement Department together with the leading university staff responsible for  internationalization who participated in a number of European projects: Tuning Russia (2010-2013), IQA (Independent Quality Assurance, 2012-2015), VALERU (Validation of Non-formal/Informal Learning in Russian Higher Education, 2013-2016), EQUASP (On-line Quality Assurance of Study Programmes, 2013-2016), etc. 

TEACHING ACTIVITIES

JM4EQA is aimed at Master’s programme “Education measurement and quality assessment” modernization by implementing a module on European best practices of independent quality assessment. Master students are to participate in additional project activities such as seminars and conference. Planned curriculum modernization is considered as a first step to creation of the joint master study programme on quality assurance.

An advanced training programme on European best practices of independent quality assessment, seminars on Bologna Process implementation in Russia, presentations of international quality assurance projects and Tuning methodology outcomes are also scheduled during the project lifetime. 

RESEARCH AND EUROPEAN STUDIES

JM4EQA activities also include field research and outcomes publications in expert scientific editions in order to transmit and popularize scientific and pedagogical experience gained during the project realization. Scientific comparative studies will be presented at the final conference which will unite acting and future experts on quality assurance as well as educators and policy makers.

KEY STAFF

NADEZHDA EFREMOVA 

Head of “Pedagogical measurement” department, PhD, professor, member of the following organizations: Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, International Slavonic Academy of Education named after J. A. Komensky, International Academy of Ecology and Life Protection Sciences, Interregional Academy of Quality Problems.
Nadezhda Efremova is author more than 300 scientific work including monographs, tutorials and manuals, statistics and analytics digests on secondary education quality in Rostov region, articles and papers. Her monograph “Competency formation and evaluation in education” was awarded in the Paris Book Fair 2015.
Her scientific interests involve theory and practice of pedagogical measurement and qualimetry, quality assurance system development and learning outcomes monitoring. As a coordinator of 2nd and 3rd study programmes she is a scientific advisor for more than 20 master and PhD students.
Nadezhda Efremova also runs methodological seminars for teachers and educators on quality assurance, education technologies and competency-based learning.

SVETLANA SHVADOVA

Vice-Rector for International Affairs DSTU, PhD, associate professor of “Research and Technical Translation and Professional Communication” Department, BFUG-RF official member, Higher Education Reform Expert, The concept creator and the President of Bologna Club in Russia.
Svetlana Shvedova carries out scientific research in the field of: implementing Bologna process achievements into the Higher education system of the Russian Federation, internationalization of education. Participant in the Bologna process advisory group of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (BFUG). Certified participant in the international organization OECD AHELO working on international assessment of higher education learning outcomes. Manager and steering committee member of Tempus projects: TUNING RUSSIA, IQA, TACHYwe, E3M, EQUASP, VALERU, MMATENG and Erasmus + projects: COMPLETE and EURIDIQE. Awarded with Certificate of Honor by the Ministry of Education and Science of the RF.

IRINA MAEVSKAYA

Chief of International education department, Dean of International Faculty, PhD, associate professor, European Higher Education Expert. Carries out research in the field of diversification and optimization of academic and professional mobility, internationalization and social dimension of higher education. Has European certificates for traineeship in Study programms development (2009-2015: Moscow, Bilbao, Dublin, Brussel, etc.). Certified tutor in distance education by the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education. Work group participant in TEMPUS projects: TUNING RUSSIA, IQA, TACHYwe, E3M, EQUASP, VALERU, MMATENG and Erasmus + projects: COMPLETE and EURIDIQE. Certified participant of in the international organization OECD AHELO. She is a member of the editorial board of annual scientific digest “Information and Communication culture: science and education”. Member of managing board of annual international forum “Education without boarders”.

MARIA SENINETS

Director of the Center of International Education and Tuning, PhD student of Madrid Autonomous University.
Maria has worked in the Center of International Education and Tuning since its opening in the framework of Tuning Russia project in June 2013. She is involved in DSTU study programmes modernization, course catalogue content creation and joint diplomas development. She took part in conferences in Israel and two mobility programmes  in TACHYwe project “530580-TEMPUS-1-2012-1-DE-TEMPUS-JPCR”. She has undergone training in Rostov-on-Don on Validation of Non-formal and Informal Learning (VNIL) within the frameworks of VALERU project, .
Her scientific interests involve theory and practice of study programmes internationalization, quality assurance and education standardization processes, bilingual education for joint diploma programmes development.
