Registration for international Olympiad for master’s degree applicants «MASTERSIUM»
The prizewinners and awardees – citizens of foreign countries have a right to be enrolled at DSTU within the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation for Master studies. The languages are Russian, French, Spanish and English. Participation is online and free of charge.

PRE-DEGREE Russian language COURSES ENROLLMENT STARTS AT DSTU
International faculty provides pre-degree Russian language courses for applicants with no/insufficient Russian language competencies for studying at RF universities. We offer an intensive course of Russian as a foreign language along with a number of subjects necessary for future degree programs obtaining:
• engineering and IT;
• business and economy;
• humanities;
• life science and biomedicine;
• natural sciences.

OPENING OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE TESTING CENTRE IN TURKEY
A Centre for testing Russian language for Turkish citizens studying it as a foreign language will be established at Necmettin Erbakan University. The Centre will be opened within the framework of implementation of the agreement on cooperation in science and education signed between DSTU and Necmettin Erbakan University on September 7 this year.

A REGIONAL EXAMINATION CENTRE FOR CHINESE AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE WILL OPEN AT DSTU
Don State Technical University has signed an agreement with Shandong Transport University to establish language examination centres at the universities, which will issue certificates confirming the level of proficiency in Russian and Chinese. A testing centre for Russian as a foreign language will be opened at Shandong Transport University, and a regional examination centre for Chinese language will be opened at DSTU. The signing took place within the framework of the meeting of Alexey Beskopylyny, Vice-Rector for Academic Work and International Activities of DSTU, and Alexey Logvinenko, Head of Rostov-on-Don Administration, with the management of the Chinese university.

The Olympiad provides an opportunity for international applicants to be enrolled at Don State Technical University and receive a state scholarship (quota) to study for free. The graduates of Bachelor’s and Specialist’s degree programmes applying to DSTU for Master’s programmes are welcome to register at http://distan.donstu-talant.ru/login/signup.php?lang=en. The official language is English. The participation is free of charge.

DSTU POSTGRADUATE STUDENT RANKED AMONG THE BEST YOUNG PROFESSIONALS IN VETERINARY MEDICINE
Egor Atamanchuk, the postgraduate student at “Biology and Pathonomy” department, won the second place in the final of the V National Interuniversity Championship "Young Professionals" according to WorldSkills Russia standards for the competence of "Veterinary Medicine" which was held on September 24 in Moscow on the basis of the Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after K.I. Scriabin.

DSTU PARTICIPATED IN INTERNATIONAL PEDAGOGICAL MARATHON
The third consecutive year, Rostov Center for Multicultural Education and Multilingualism "World of Enlightenment" jointly with DSTU holds the International Pedagogical Marathon in online format. Traditionally, it dedicated to the beginning of the new academic year and it takes place in mid-August.
