The pre-degree course (foundation program / podfak)
The pre-degree course (foundation program / podfak) includes a 1-year/1.5-year course of Russian language and a number of disciplines depending on the further higher education study program: engineering, medicine, economics, human sciences, natural sciences.
Tuition fee (in 2022-2023 academic year) is 105 000 rubles for 1-year programme and 160 000 rubles for 1.5-year programme. Payment has to be made before the arrival at the university.
We have started admitting applications since May, 15, 2022.
The deadline of 1 year program is October, 30, 2022. We admit documents till December, 20, 2021 for 1.5-year programme.
PREPARE A FULL SET OF DOCUMENT BEFORE ARRIVAL AND SEND THEM TO spu-48@donstu.ru or international_faculty@mail.ru:
1. Scanned all pages of the applicant’s passport, which you will use for crossing the border of the Russian Federation, valid for at least 18 months from the start date of the entry student visa.
2. Scanned pages of the final educational documents and certificates containing information on the courses taken and the grades or credits awarded for each of them (diploma, statement of results, certificate, etc.).
3. Scanned translation into Russian language of your passport and all educational documents.
4. Filled in an application forms attached to this letter.
The documents must be scanned and sent to us via e-mail spu-48@donstu.ru or international_faculty@mail.ru . Please, note that the documents should be scanned properly in order to be readable. A scanned copy of the document must meet the following requirements. The scanned document must be clearly legible, that is, all inscriptions, seals, signatures must be distinguishable. Moreover, each directed attachment must contain no more than one document (each document is in a separate file), such a file must have a name that reflects the essence of the attached document and contain the number of pages in it.
The electronic document file must be in one of the following formats:

TIF / TIFF,
JPG / JPEG;
All the documents must be translated officially and certified at Russian Embassy.
The educational certificates must be properly legalized at Russian Embassy after their authorization at your Ministry of International Affairs.
If you pass admission procedure we will inform you about any issues with the submitted documents by email.
After you have sent all the required documents, your application will be verified. If the results of the qualifying events are positive, you will be sent a contract for training, after payment you will be prepared an invitation letter to enter Russia. Be aware that if we will send you a contract, you must sign it, send us back a scan with your signature and using banking details pay for the education. Online payment is possible with a Visa card.
DOCUMENTS YOU SHOULD HAVE
The medical document (in Russian and English) confirming the negative result of a laboratory study of material on COVID-19 by the polymerase chain reaction;
The document of the medical institution of the candidate's country of residence, confirming the absence of medical contraindications for training in the Russian Federation;
The document of the medical institution of the candidate's country of residence, confirming the absence of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and AIDS;
The results of passing mandatory medical examinations.
