The university administration is taking all necessary measures to ensure the anti-terrorist protection of students and academic staff. All socially important events, including cultural, sports and mass events, will be cancelled over the weekend.

Checks will be carried out on staff, students and vehicles entering the university premises, unscheduled checks will be carried out on reporting systems and staff briefings will be organised.

DSTU Rector Besarion Meskhi called on the university's staff and students to be vigilant and not to give in to provocation. Information about socially dangerous actions should be immediately reported to the university management.
