In veterinary clinic, specialists will provide curative and preventive services for animals. At the same time DSTU students, the future veterinarians and pharmacists, will give the opportunities to explore how veterinary pharmacy is organized.
-    The licence from Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) of Rostov region, who provided the licence to DSTU, proves the compliance of the conditions for storage and distribution of pharmaceuticals in DSTU with state requirements, noticed the dean of the faculty “Bioengineering and Veterinary medicine”, Professor Aleksey Ermakov.  It is an implicit confirmation not only of the professional authority and multidisciplinary varieties of our university, but also shows that the Faculty “Bioengineering and Veterinary Medicine” of DSTU focuses on practical-oriented training method.
According to Aleksey Ermakov, for several months, DSTU employees have been travelling to Mariupol to provide veterinary health care to abandoned and sick animals. Now, with the licence, veterinary doctors of the Faculty “Bioengineering and Veterinary Medicine” will be able to provide not only on-site medical assistance, but also to transport them, as well as use pharmaceuticals for the treatment of animals. Before that, they had to use what was available in the local area.
