The faculty of Social and human sciences offers challenging educational programmes related to one of the most complicated objects of science – human and social relations. The programmes are designed in close cooperation with public and private social organizations in order to make them up-to-date and consistent.

The faculty takes active part in the international project “Transnational Academic Careers in Child and Youth Welfare – TACHYwe”. New modules in English have successfully been introduced in the study programmes. Our students participate in the project video conferences and lectures given by European experts.

The programmes are designed for our students to become outstanding experts in the social and human sciences through excellence and innovation in teaching and learning, research and knowledge exchange.

Our graduates’ qualifications enable them to hold senior positions in national and international organizations operating in the following fields: linguistics, world culture, philosophy, theology, sociology, psychology, etc. Having successfully finished the programme you can find employment as social worker, professional interpreter, psychologist and theologian.
