Faculty "BIOENGINEERING AND VETERINARY MEDICINE"

The faculty “Bioengineering and Veterinary Medicine” provides training in various fields and is fully based on the requirements of employers and the current market. From the first course of study, students get the opportunity to master professional competencies, and graduates of the faculty make up a contingent of competitive specialists. The management of the faculty strives to provide comfortable working conditions not only for students, but also for the teaching staff, since the quality work of the teacher is the basis of education. Our goal is to preserve and enhance the traditions of the open pedagogical and research environment of higher education. The practice-oriented approach to teaching clinical disciplines and the in-depth study of individual disciplines (diseases of small domestic and exotic animals and horses) significantly distinguishes preparation at DSTU from other Russian universities. Laboratory and practical classes in clinical disciplines are held directly in veterinary clinics. Undergraduate and graduate programs are delivered in the areas of "Nanoengineering" and "Materials Science and Technology of Materials". For all courses, in accordance with the standards, a chemical workshop has been developed and delivered, including laboratory work and practical classes, to which methodological guidelines have been published that take into account the specifics of the laboratory work performed and the equipment used for this.
